Screenprinting with Textiles 101

This one-off workshop covers the basics of screen printing from the creation of the design to its print on fabric. We’ll explore the different possibilities of lay out creation (analogue or digital), placement and composition as well as the different inks and printing methods. Each students will get to walk away with at least one screen print of their own.

- What should I bring?
- No prior knowledge needed , participant should come with a design and their laptop if they want to work on a digital design and any piece of textile and/or clothing they’d like to print on
About the artist
Matheo is a French Berlin based fashion designer, screen printer, archivist and stylist. Working in several Couture atelier and nurtured a deep love for craftsmanship , hand work and analogue techniques which are at the core of his practice and creativity.
