Intro to Audio Art: The End-to-End Music Production Process

In this course, you will learn the end-to-end process of building a track using music production tools. You will gain hands-on, practical skills that get you experimenting with audio quickly and the essential technical knowledge to make a quality recording. Alongside this, you will develop your own music production practice and demystify the techniques relevant to your own taste and influences. This course is taught in small groups to ensure all participants are directly supported through the initial learning curve of using music production software. During the course, you will be guided through the process of completing a project and gain the key skills you need to continue your music practice after the last class. This course is for both musicians and those new to music - no previous musical or music production knowledge is required. The course is not software specific. Concepts are demonstrated in Ableton Live and Logic Pro.

Gregory Pearce is an experimental musician and educator from Aotearoa (New Zealand). An active live musician and recording artist based in Berlin, he has been teaching music since 2011.
