Group Improv

This all-levels improv course is about more than just learning techniques—it’s about creating something together. Over six weeks, we’ll explore a range of improv games, scenework, and collaborative exercises to build trust, sharpen instincts, and discover what makes our group unique. From those discoveries, we’ll begin shaping an original show as an ensemble. While there is flexibility to drop in and out, the course is designed to help a consistent group grow into a cohesive troupe, developing a shared voice and performance style over time. Each session builds on what we uncover together, making the process just as important as the final product. Beyond performance, improv is a powerful tool for everyday life. You’ll develop skills in active listening, quick thinking, collaboration, emotional intelligence, and comfort with uncertainty. It’s also a great way to build confidence, improve communication, and become more present and responsive in any situation.

About the artist
Madison Weinhoffer, a human based currently in Berlin, she is an interdisciplinary artist who focuses on object theatre and design (aka puppets). With degrees in Acting and Anthropology, she performs, designs, and collaborates both commercially and theatrically in Europe and the States.

We use a sliding scale to make courses as affordable as possible. Here’s how to use it: Lower end: You don’t have a stable income. Mid range: You have a less stable financial situation and are more selective about where you spend your money. Higher end: You experience relative financial stability. Solidarity spot: You’re experiencing financial precarity and wouldn’t otherwise be able to afford to come to a workshop.
