Transform the nostalgia of autumn into textile art. In this immersive 3-hour session, you’ll learn to capture the rich, golden palette of Berlin’s seasonal flora using premium, high-quality textiles. What You’ll Do & Learn: The Alchemy: Master the crucial role of mordants and textile pre-treatments so your botanical colors bond permanently to the fibers. Bundle Dye Foulard (100x30 cm): Discover an advanced contact-printing technique. By layering a pre-dyed base with undyed fabric and placing fresh autumn leaves in between, you'll transfer stunning seasonal prints through steaming. ‘Hapa Zome’ Bandana (50x50 cm): While your foulards steam, experiment with the dynamic "Zap Technique," capturing instant botanical reactions on a rayon bandana. What You’ll Take Home: You’ll leave with three unique, premium pieces (two foulards and one bandana) in high-quality cotton and rayon, the knowledge to replicate the natural dyeing process at home, and a deeper connection to the city's autumn ecosystem.

About the artist
Ika Abigayll is a multidisciplinary artist and designer working with textiles, upcycling, and storytelling. Her practice combines embroidery, painting, bleaching, and garment alteration to explore identity and social narratives. She teaches process-based workshops focused on sustainability, experimentation, and developing a personal visual language.
